LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 is getting answers as to why some windows are missing from the Hilton Elara Hotel off of the Las Vegas Strip.
Officials say one guest was injured.
FOX5 was at the property Monday afternoon. Windows are seen blown out. One appears to be open with a white fabric or backing covering from inside the hotel the others appear to be covered with what looks like a plastic tarp.
The Elara is located near Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon. It’s not clear when this happened or how.
We reached out to OSHA about this. They said unless an employee was injured, “this wouldn’t be an OSHA matter.”
Hilton Grand Vacations provided a statement, “The safety of our members, guests and team members is always our top priority. We are investigating the cause of this incident while making the necessary repairs. We can confirm that one guest sustained minor injuries, and we are in contact with impacted guests to ensure their stays are not further disrupted by this issue.”
Stay with FOX5 for updates regarding this incident.
