A bomb threat email was sent to three reputed hotels in Bengaluru, including The Oterra Hotel. Teams of Bomb squad and police are currently at The Oterra hotel, the DCP South East Bengaluru told ANI.
To look for explosives, police, bomb squads, and sniffer dogs were dispatched to several hotels, including the five-star Oterra hotel.
This occurs a day after the Ministry of Home Affairs’ residence, North Block, received a bomb threat email that was ultimately determined to be a hoax.
Emails containing bomb threats were also received by several schools in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi-NCR earlier in April, which caused fear. It was discovered later that each of these threat was fake.
