GREEN BAY (WLUK) — A North Dakota man is charged with traveling to Brown County and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl on two occasions.
Kelly Rosemore, 42, is charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child under 16 by use of threat of force or violence, strangulation and suffocation, and physical abuse of a child-intentionally cause bodily harm.
According to the criminal complaint, the girl told investigators Rosemore began messaging her online in November.
The girl and Rosemore allegedly met in March at a hotel near Lambeau Field. The girl said Rosemore provided her with alcohol and had sexual contact with her.
The next time the two met was in April at a hotel in Howard. This time, the girl said the assault was more violent. The girl also said Rosemore later sent her a photo of the assault and threatened to show her father if she told anyone.
The complaint says records from the Howard hotel confirm Rosemore checked in to a room on April 6.
The complaint also says Rosemore is a registered sex offender.
The complaint does not include a statement from Rosemore.
He appeared in court Thursday, where a $200,000 cash bond was set. He is due back in court May 24.
If convicted on all counts, Rosemore could be sentenced to up to 72 years in prison.
