PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man has died after being shot at a hotel in north Phoenix on Monday evening.
Phoenix police were called to a shooting at Econo Lodge near 29th and Sweetwater Avenues, north of Cactus Road, around 7:15 p.m.
Officers got to the scene and found a man who was shot. The officers gave the man aid until the Phoenix Fire Department arrived. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died from injuries. He has not been identified.
Police say the suspect left the area before police arrived. An investigation is underway.
This is the third shooting at the same location this year.
One happened earlier this month and another in February.
