SCIOTO COUNTY, Oh. (WSAZ) – A child has died after a drowning in a hotel pool, according to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened on Sunday.
Deputies were called to the Quality Inn in Wheelersburg just after 6:00 p.m.
Family has identified the child victim as Mackenzie Cornell.
Investigators say the child died, but no further information is being released.
